The UAE Needs Your Energy

The first interactive forum on Nuclear Energy for science students, organised by the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation.

Dates: 29 & 30 March 2010

A unique opportunity to learn about the facts of nuclear energy, the UAE nuclear energy programme, and the unlimited career and educational opportunities offered in this field.

The session will be hosted by two leading engineers:

• Dr. Ausaf Husein, Phd in nuclear engineering and expert in nuclear fuel cycle
• Daniel C. Wood, a mechanical engineer with decades of experience in global nuclear energy projects

The event is designed to be proactive and practical. It is scheduled to run for an hour and will focus on the key facts and figures of nuclear energy related issues, communicating them in an open and practical manner. The key purpose is, not only talk about nuclear related issues, but to provide visual evidence through actual samples or illustrations. A questions and answers sessionwill be held at the end of the session.

Give life...build a community

National Rehabilitation Centre and Dubai World Trade Centre will be hosting a gala dinner, which will be held on the opening night of Careers UAE 2010 in the Al Multaqa Ball Room, Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event will feature a live auction of paintings by the patients created during their rehabilitation. The proceeds from the auction will go towards a fund established to help patients to find suitable employment and aid them to re-integrate in society.

Develop your potential

The AIESEC Leadership Forum 2010 organised by AIESEC aims to empower 250 UAE youth with the confidence to make well informed life choices to develop their career goals. It is an open platform for UAE youth to express their opinion on education, career and entrepreneurship opportunities in the country. Alongside, the Forum will be the Leadership Tournament where 6 elite Universities will go head to head in an intense, action packed competition to see which one of them really has what it takes to develop their leadership potential the next level!
